Laboratory (Hospital Labs)

Our regular laboratory services operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and are located at our West Park Hospital Campus at 707 Sheridan Avenue. For more information about our laboratory services please call 307.578.2673.

Cody Regional Health operates a full-service laboratory with on-site testing in clinical chemistry, therapeutic drug monitoring, hematology, coagulation, immunology, and bacteriology.

Our laboratory is nationally accredited by CLIA and provides 24/7 care by licensed medical technologists. Cody Regional Health laboratory services encompass emergency service and inpatient and outpatient needs. Our lab test offerings have been developed to serve the needs of our patient population and to support specialized treatments offered in our area. All disciplines of laboratory medicine are included, such as transfusion medicine, hematology, coagulation, general and some special chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology.

Health Check Laboratory (Walk-In Clinics)

Our discounted Health Check Laboratory operates Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Health Check is located at our Cathcart Health Center at 424 Yellowstone Avenue. For more information about our Health Check Lab services please call 307.578.2916.

We will be closed from 1/22/24–2/5/24 and reopen on 2/6/24.

Our laboratory offers self-directed lab testing at our Cathcart Health Center. These prepaid, self-referred tests can screen for anemia, diabetes, cardiac risk, and more.

How to use the service:

1. Choose the test(s) you need from the list below.
2. Print and fill out the consent and liability form.
3. Drop off the form and pay for the test(s) at the Cody Regional Health Cathcart Health Center between 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
4. Receive your results.

Preparation for tests:

For accurate results, most tests require fasting (nothing by mouth except for water) for 8 to 12 hours beforehand. People with diabetes should not fast for more than eight hours and all participants should continue taking medications as prescribed.
