Community EMS
In addition to emergency response, we are committed to community education and injury prevention. Our outreach programs and training sessions aim to empower individuals with life-saving skills and knowledge. We also collaborate closely with local fire departments, law enforcement agencies, search and rescue, and outlying healthcare facilities to ensure seamless coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
Wilderness EMS
Our wilderness EMS team operates a specially equipped Chevy Suburban and Polaris UTV for special response calls in accompaniment with Park County Search and Rescue. This specialized area of emergency medical response focuses on providing medical care in remote or rugged environments. These services are often required in areas where traditional EMS resources may not be readily available, such as national parks, forests, mountains, and other wilderness areas.
Wilderness EMS professionals are trained to navigate challenging terrains, handle extreme weather conditions, and administer advanced medical care in these unconventional settings. Our team is adept at improvising with limited resources and making critical care decisions in potentially life-threatening situations. The expertise of our wilderness EMS staff extends beyond typical medical knowledge, incorporating survival skills, rescue techniques, and a deep understanding of the unique hazards associated with wilderness environments.
