Angie Johnson

Angie Johnson, a dedicated Wyoming native, brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to public service to her role as a board member at Cody Regional Health.

Born in Basin, Wyoming, and raised in Meeteetse, Angie's journey through life has been firmly rooted in her home state. She graduated from Meeteetse Schools and went on to earn a BA in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Jamestown College in North Dakota in 1998. During her college years, Angie was an active member of the Jimmies Track and Cross Country Teams, demonstrating her dedication and leadership qualities early on.

Her professional journey led her to serve as Clerk Treasurer for the Town of Meeteetse, a position she has held since 2003, following her initial role as Deputy Clerk from 2000 to 2003. In this capacity, Angie has undertaken various administrative, managerial, and technical duties, overseeing the efficient and economical operation of the town. Her responsibilities include managing the town's budget, payroll, accounts receivable, utility billing, and rate setting. Angie also plays a vital role in community initiatives, such as the Meeteetse Youth Work Program and grant writing for infrastructure projects.

Angie's community involvement extends to positions like Swimming Pool Supervisor, Lifeguard Instructor, Water Safety Instructor, and Community First Aid/CPR Instructor at the Meeteetse Recreation District, as well as Secretary for the Meeteetse Fire District, where she manages financial accounts and maintains records. She is also a Certified Pool Operator for the Meeteetse Community Facilities Joint Powers Board.

Throughout her career, Angie has been a dedicated member of various boards and civic organizations, including the Meeteetse Cemetery District, Meeteetse Youth Work Program Board, Meeteetse Swimming Pool Committee, and more. Her leadership has been instrumental in securing funding for numerous community infrastructure projects, enhancing the quality of life for residents.

In her personal life, Angie shares her love for Wyoming's outdoor activities with her husband, Larry, and their three children, Carter, Kirwin, and Kennedi. They enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, skiing, water skiing, hiking, and hockey. Angie's commitment to her community and her impressive track record of leadership make her a valuable addition to the Cody Regional Health board.

Angie's educational achievements include a BA in Biology, a Minor in Chemistry from Jamestown College, and a series of certifications and courses that reflect her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. These certifications include Certified Municipal Clerk (IIMC-2008), Master Municipal Clerk (IIMC-2017), Certified Public Finance Administrator (APT US & C-2019), Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (APT US & C-2021), and Advanced Certified Public Funds Investment Manager (APT US & C-2021). She is also a Certified Pool Operator (WLRA-2006-present) and an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor (2006-present).

Angie's impressive leadership journey includes roles such as Meeteetse Cemetery District Board Member, President of WAMCAT (Wyoming Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers), and Region VIII East IIMC(International Institute of Municipal Clerks) Region Director, among others.

With her diverse experiences, skills, and dedication, Angie Johnson is poised to contribute significantly to the Cody Regional Health board, bringing her passion for public service and commitment to the well-being of the community she loves.
