About Gregory

Gregory P. Clark, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant with Cody Regional Health Orthopedics, bringing nearly three decades of experience caring for orthopedic patients in the Big Horn Basin.

Greg has practiced in orthopedic surgery since 1998, with much of his career spent caring for patients in Cody and Powell. His extensive orthopedic experience includes evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions, assisting with orthopedic surgery, providing pre- and postoperative care, performing joint injections, applying casts and splints, and interpreting laboratory and radiographic findings.

Most recently, Greg provided nonsurgical care for patients with lumbar and cervical spine conditions and other musculoskeletal disorders through Holistic Pain Management of Wyoming. Prior to that, he spent nine years practicing orthopedic surgery at Powell Valley HealthCare. Earlier in his career, he practiced with Absaroka Orthopaedics and Big Horn Basin Orthopaedics in Cody.

Greg earned his Doctor of Medical Science from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana, and his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College after completing bachelor's degrees in Natural Science/Mathematics and Biology at the University of Wyoming.

In addition to patient care, Greg has a longstanding passion for education. For more than 25 years, he has served as a clinical preceptor for students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing and advanced practice. He has worked with students from Northwest College, the University of Wyoming, Rocky Mountain College and the University of North Dakota. He also serves as a visiting professor teaching human anatomy and physiology.

Greg has contributed to orthopedic education beyond the classroom as well. His article, “Treatment options for symptomatic knee osteoarthritis in adults,” was published in the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Associates in 2023.

A graduate of Lovell High School and the University of Wyoming, Greg has deep roots in Northwest Wyoming and extensive experience caring for patients throughout the region. At Cody Regional Health, he brings decades of orthopedic knowledge, continuity and familiarity with the communities CRH serves to the Orthopedics team.
