Liz is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist who is board certified in Advanced Diabetes Management. Her career working with people with diabetes has spanned over 40 years. She became interested in helping people with diabetes at a young age, as her father had diabetes for 50 years. He was an example of how taking good care of your diabetes can lead to a long and healthy life as he lived to be 94.

She is a Wyoming native who went to the University of Wyoming and then to the University of Arizona for her Masters’ in Nutrition and dietetic internship. Liz works clinically with patients in acute care, dialysis, oncology, and outpatient settings. She joined the initial Billings Clinic Diabetes team 20 years ago.

Liz feels it is a privilege to help people with diabetes to be their “best self.”
