About Layne

Layne Lash, C-FNP, is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner serving patients in both our OB/GYN and Internal Medicine clinics. A Wyoming native, Layne earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Wyoming. She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2011 and has been nationally certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) since that time.

Layne is committed to caring for individuals across every stage of life. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine, active listening, and a deep respect for each patient’s unique background and needs. With special interests in sexual health and preventive wellness, Layne takes pride in creating a safe, open, judgment-free environment where patients can comfortably discuss their concerns and work together toward improved health outcomes.

Her philosophy is simple: every patient should feel heard, respected, and empowered to play an active role in their care. She strives to ensure that each visit feels welcoming and collaborative, offering clear, evidence-based guidance to help patients reach their personal health goals.

Layne also serves the state of Wyoming as the Advanced Practice Provider representative on the Wyoming Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Her professional recognition includes being honored as St. John’s Employee of the Year in Jackson, Wyoming, where she also served on the hospital’s leadership committee as the APP Representative.

Born and raised in Cheyenne, Layne is proud to continue her career in the state she calls home. She is married to Kyle Lash, a Game Warden with Wyoming Game and Fish. Outside of work, she enjoys running, golfing, skiing, floating the river, and spending time with their three children.
