Nikki moved to Cody in 1995 with her husband Ward Dominick. They met in
Boulder, at the tail end of her undergraduate studies in Aerospace Engineering.
After receiving her Masters in Environmental Engineering from Colorado
School of Mines, Nikki pivoted to help run the Dominick family’s
guest ranch in Sunlight Basin. Nikki and Ward have two energetic children,
a daughter who attends MSU in Bozeman and a son who is a junior at CHS.
After running the Ranch, Nikki substitute taught for 10 years in the Park6
school district. She is currently on the Board of the Park County Library
Foundation, is a mentor for young girls on mountain bikes with the Little
Bellas organization, and volunteers with Sleeping Giant’s Ski Like
a Girl Program.
