Cody Regional Health is excited to host its annual Tails & Trails 5K on Saturday, August 9, 2025, beginning at 8:00 AM at the Scout Parking Lot located at 707 Sheridan Avenue in Cody. This year’s fun and inclusive wellness event will directly benefit Wyo Hoofbeats, a local nonprofit focused on equine-assisted therapy and personal growth.
The event invites runners, walkers, and dog walkers of all ages and fitness levels to join. (Dog companions are welcome, but not required!) Registration is $35 and includes a participant gift and post-race refreshments. An awards ceremony will follow the race to celebrate all who join in.
“This event has become a true celebration of movement, connection, and giving back,” said Ashley Trudo, Marketing and Public Relations Director at Cody Regional Health. “We are honored to support Wyo Hoofbeats this year. Their work is incredibly meaningful, and we’re proud to align our mission of wellness with theirs.”
Proceeds from the event will go directly to Wyo Hoofbeats, whose team offers equine-based therapeutic and educational opportunities that support mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being in individuals of all ages.
“We are so grateful to Cody Regional Health and everyone participating in this year’s Tails & Trails event,” said Heather Bales, MSW, LCSW & Co-Founder of Wyo Hoofbeats. “This generous support helps us continue using the unique power of horses to foster healing, trust, and growth for the people in our community who need it most.”
