Cody Regional Health (CRH) is excited to announce a new partnership with Hot Springs Health (HSH) to provide Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for the Thermopolis community, effective July 31, 2025.
As part of this transition, HSH has ended its previous contractual EMS relationship and partnered with Cody Regional Health, bringing CRH’s extensive experience and strong reputation in EMS care to the area. CRH currently provides emergency medical services across Park, Washakie, and South Big Horn Counties and is eager to extend the same high-quality care to Hot Springs County.
“When Thermopolis residents call 911, they can be confident knowing our team will be there,” said Hannah McRae, CEO of Cody Regional Health. “We are honored to work alongside Hot Springs Health and the Thermopolis community to ensure reliable, expert emergency care close to home.”
Under this partnership, Cody Regional Health will have full-time, licensed, and certified EMS staff on-site in Thermopolis, supported by fully equipped ambulances to ensure a seamless response to emergencies.
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to the health and safety of the Thermopolis community,” said Phillip Franklin, EMS Director at Cody Regional Health. “Our team is passionate about rural emergency medicine, and we are excited to deliver the same level of skill, compassion, and readiness that defines CRH EMS.”
This partnership reinforces Cody Regional Health’s mission to serve the Big Horn Basin with exceptional care and strengthens the collaborative relationship between CRH and Hot Springs Health in supporting the people of Thermopolis.
