Cody Regional Health’s EMS team proudly serves a broad region across
northwest Wyoming, covering more than 13,000 square miles of rugged and
rural terrain. Our ambulance personnel respond to emergency requests within
the communities of Cody, Meeteetse, and Wapiti, as well as Sunlight, Crandall,
the Beartooth Plateau, and adjacent areas throughout Park County.
Through expanded partnerships, we now provide services beyond Park County
into Big Horn, Washakie, and Hot Springs Counties, ensuring that even
the most remote communities have access to reliable and compassionate
emergency medical care.
In addition to responding to 911 calls, our EMS professionals provide advanced
and basic non-emergency transfers for patients who require transport to
other healthcare facilities outside the Cody Regional Health service area.
When patients need a higher level of care, we also coordinate with life
flight services in Billings, Salt Lake City, and Denver, ensuring timely
and safe transfers for critical cases.
No matter the distance, Cody Regional Health EMS is committed to bringing
advanced care directly to our communities — whenever and wherever
it’s needed most.
