For Prospective Applicants:
How do I apply for a position with Cody Regional Health EMS? Please visit the Cody Regional Health Careers page and search for open
EMS positions.
What certifications are required to work for your service? All providers must be certified with the Wyoming State EMS Office and the
National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). We offer positions
for both certified EMTs and Paramedics.
Where can I find your protocols and guidelines? Our protocols are an important part of our clinical practice. You can review
them by clicking [link to PDF]. We believe in transparency and in empowering
our providers with clear guidance.
What is the shift schedule like?
Cody day shift follows a 5x2x2x5 schedule.
Cody night shift operates 7 days on, 7 days off.
Outlying stations work a variation of 24–48 hour shifts.
For the Public:
When should I call for an ambulance? Always call 911 immediately in any medical emergency. For non-emergency
transport needs, you may contact us directly.
What areas do you cover? We provide emergency and transport services throughout the Big Horn Basin,
including Park, Big Horn, Washakie, and Hot Springs Counties.
How do I request a non-emergency transfer? Please call our dispatch team at
(307) 250-6663 to schedule a transfer.
What if I have questions about a bill? For billing inquiries, please contact our billing department at
