ValerieĀ Baldes, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine at Cody Regional Health. She brings decades of experience in patient care, clinical leadership, and medical education, with deep roots in Wyoming and the surrounding region.
Dr. Baldes earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her residency through the Group Health Family Medicine Residency Program in Seattle, where she also served as Chief Resident. She previously earned her undergraduate education at the University of Wyoming and Central Wyoming College.
Throughout her career, Dr. Baldes has practiced in both urban and rural healthcare settings, with a longstanding commitment to caring for patients in Wyoming. She has served patients across multiple communities and held numerous leadership roles focused on quality, safety, and medical staff development. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds active medical licensure in Wyoming.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Baldes has an extensive background in medical education. She has served as a clinical instructor and assistant professor for the University of Washington School of Medicine and as a clinical instructor for the University of Wyoming Medical School, mentoring medical students and residents throughout her career.
