Dr. Steven Hager is a board-certified medical oncologist, hematologist, and internist with a long-standing commitment to advancing cancer care through innovation and research. With decades of experience, he brings a depth of clinical expertise and leadership to the patients he serves.
Dr. Hager has held key roles throughout his career, including serving as Department Head of Medical Oncology and as a staff oncologist at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego. During his military service, he established the first oncology department within the United States Armed Forces—demonstrating his dedication to expanding access to specialized cancer care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hager serves as an assistant clinical professor at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine and remains actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). He has contributed to numerous research initiatives and publications throughout his career.
Dr. Hager is passionate about delivering high-quality, research-driven care while building strong connections with his patients. He is excited to serve the Cody community and provide advanced oncology care close to home.
