About Laura

Dr. Laura Pasternack is a board-certified anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist dedicated to providing safe, compassionate, and advanced anesthesia care for patients at Cody Regional Health.

Dr. Pasternack completed her Anesthesiology Residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and went on to complete advanced fellowship training in Interventional Chronic Pain Management at UCLA Health. She earned her medical degree from Drexel College of Medicine and also holds a Master of Science in Global Health from UCSF.

With extensive experience in regional anesthesia, perioperative pain management, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, and high-acuity surgical care, Dr. Pasternack brings advanced clinical expertise and a patient-centered approach to every procedure. Her background includes caring for patients in complex surgical settings including orthopedic, vascular, neurological, and outpatient procedures.

Dr. Pasternack is passionate about patient safety, teamwork, innovation, and improving the overall surgical experience for patients through evidence-based care and advanced anesthesia techniques.
