About Kristopher

Kristopher A. Black, MSN, CRNA, is a highly experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with more than 15 years of providing safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in anesthesia from the University of Cincinnati and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado.

Kris currently serves as Chief CRNA and Staff CRNA, where he plays a key leadership role while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. His clinical experience includes general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, gastrointestinal procedures, neurosurgery, and vascular cases, with additional experience in obstetrics and pediatric anesthesia. He is skilled in multiple anesthesia techniques, including general anesthesia, spinal and epidural anesthesia, monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and ultrasound-guided regional blocks.

Throughout his career, Kris has worked in both independent and team-based practice settings, demonstrating a strong commitment to patient safety, precision, and compassionate care. His background also includes critical care nursing and cardiovascular specialties, which provide a strong clinical foundation for his anesthesia practice.

Outside of work, Kris enjoys spending time outdoors, with a passion for climbing, skiing, cycling, and mountaineering—reflecting his appreciation for both challenge and balance in life.
