About Julianna
Dr. Julianna Papez is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for women throughout every stage of life.
She earned her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California, and completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan.
Dr. Papez’s path to medicine began with a lifelong interest in health and fitness. While she originally envisioned herself as a small-town family physician, her passion for surgery and women’s health led her to obstetrics and gynecology—a specialty that combines surgical expertise, primary care, and health promotion. Over the years, she has developed a deep commitment to supporting women medically and emotionally, from adolescence through menopause and beyond.
Her clinical interests include infertility, high-risk pregnancies, and surgical gynecologic care. She is also pursuing certification through The Menopause Society to further expand her ability to care for women navigating perimenopause and postmenopausal health.
Dr. Papez strives to create a welcoming environment where her patients feel safe, heard, and supported. She values the opportunity to listen, answer questions, and build meaningful relationships that go beyond the exam room.
A Montana native, Dr. Papez was born and raised in Billings. She and her husband—who grew up on a ranch outside Belfry, Montana—have three children: Cooper, Gabrielle, and Rowan. In her free time, she enjoys baking, cooking, reading, watching her chickens while sipping coffee, and spending time outdoors. She especially loves long walks with her husband and their mini Aussiedoodle, Muffin.
