About Elizabeth

Elizabeth “Liz” McCleary is a compassionate behavioral health counselor who is dedicated to meeting individuals where they are in their journey. She creates a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Liz takes a client-centered approach to care, recognizing each individual as the expert of their own life. She works collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

She has experience working with both adolescents and adults, supporting individuals through challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, substance use disorders, and life stressors. Liz is committed to helping clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

Her therapeutic approach emphasizes compassion, trust, and collaboration. She incorporates a range of treatment methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, play therapy, Gestalt techniques, and individual, family, couples, and group therapy.
