About Alyssa
Alyssa Whitlock is a dedicated Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Cody Regional Health with a strong clinical foundation in obstetrics, gynecology, and newborn care. She brings more than five years of nursing experience caring for women and families across all stages of life, with a particular focus on compassionate, evidence-based care.
Alyssa earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University and has extensive hands-on experience supporting patients through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and routine gynecologic care. Her clinical background includes labor and delivery, postpartum care, newborn support, and high-risk obstetrics.
Her areas of clinical interest include prenatal and postpartum care, contraceptive counseling and management, routine gynecologic screenings, and the evaluation and management of gynecologic conditions. Alyssa is also experienced in outpatient procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, endometrial biopsies, and preventative women’s health services.
Alyssa believes in creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered to take an active role in their health. She values patient education and works closely with each individual to ensure care plans are personalized and aligned with their goals.
In addition to her clinical training, Alyssa holds certifications in neonatal resuscitation, fetal monitoring, and basic life support, further supporting her commitment to high-quality maternal and newborn care.
