Cody Regional Health Foundation is thrilled to announce the success of the Living Made Lovely campaign benefiting the Long Term Care Center at Cody Regional Health. Thanks to generous community support, $125,000 was raised to fund new bedside tables and wardrobe closets for every resident room in the Long Term Care Center.
“We are thrilled with the response from the community in support of our aging residents,” shared Heather Stambaugh, Foundation Director. “The residents who call the Long Term Care Center home are our parents, grandparents, and neighbors. It’s so important to give them a warm and inviting place to live.”
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the outpouring of support from individuals and organizations across the area,” added Kelly Jensen, Cody Regional Health Foundation Board Chair. “We are especially grateful to an anonymous community member who provided a matching challenge gift. That generosity truly spurred people to donate, and it was exciting to see the response.”
Key activities during the campaign included exhibiting a tree at the Festival of Trees, spreading awareness on Giving Tuesday, speaking with local service clubs, and receiving strong support from resident families, staff, board members, and community advocates.
“The funding raised by the Foundation allows us to purchase much-needed upgrades for our residential rooms,” said Laura Carpenter, Administrator of the Cody Regional Health Long Term Care Center. “These furnishings provide more usable, up-to-date options that are safe, easy to clean, and aesthetically pleasing. They also help us meet our goal of creating a more home-like environment for our residents. After all, who doesn’t want their room to feel as home-like as possible?”
What’s next? Once the furnishings are installed, donors will be invited to see the updates and celebrate with residents—an occasion the Cody Regional Health Foundation looks forward to sharing this summer. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the community for making Living Made Lovely a reality.
