2025 Community Health Needs Assessment

2025 Community Health Needs Assessment

Cody Regional Health, in collaboration with Powell Valley Healthcare, One Health, Healthy Park County, and Public Health are proud to launch the 2025 Park County Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). This initiative invites community members to help shape the future of healthcare and wellness in our region by sharing their experiences, concerns, and ideas.

The CHNA is conducted every three years and serves as a critical tool to identify local health needs, highlight barriers to care, and guide strategic decision-making for healthcare organizations and agencies across Park County.

“The CHNA is one of the most powerful tools we have to truly listen to our community,” said Ashley Trudo, Marketing and Public Relations Director at Cody Regional Health. “This is not just a survey—it’s a chance for every voice to help shape the direction of health services in our region. We deeply value the feedback we receive, and we use it to inform real, lasting change.”

Nine years ago, each healthcare agency in Park County conducted its own separate CHNA. Today, those same organizations have come together in partnership—recognizing that a unified approach to gathering this data provides a clearer, more comprehensive understanding of our community’s health needs. This shared effort allows all participating agencies to align their priorities, collaborate more effectively, and focus on the areas that need the most improvement.

“At Cody Regional Health, we are committed to improving the health and well-being of our communities,” said Hannah McRae, CEO of Cody Regional Health. “By partnering with other local organizations on the CHNA, we can gain a more complete picture of the challenges our residents face and work collectively to remove barriers and strengthen the resources available to them.”

This year’s assessment emphasizes community collaboration and collective action, with a strong focus on ensuring every voice is heard—from Cody to Powell, Meeteetse, and beyond.

The CHNA survey is available on the websites of all participating health organizations or click HERE, and once complete, the results will also be published and accessible on those same platforms. It takes just a few minutes to complete, but the impact can be long-lasting.
