Cody Regional Health Launches VitalPath Running Club to Support Employee Wellness

Cody Regional Health is proud to kick off its new VitalPath Running Club, a free, four-week wellness initiative designed to encourage movement, boost mental health, and strengthen employee and community connections through regular group runs and walks.

Open to all fitness levels—from seasoned runners to first-time walkers—the club meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 PM at the Scout Statue in Cody, starting July 15 and running through August 8. Each session is part of a gradual training plan that helps participants prepare to complete a 5K by the end of the program, just in time for CRH’s Tails & Trails 5K on August 9.

“This initiative is about more than running—it’s about showing up for yourself and each other,” said Ashley Trudo, Marketing and Public Relations Director at Cody Regional Health. “Our goal with the VitalPath Running Club is to create a welcoming space for movement, encouragement, and camaraderie—regardless of your pace.”

Participants are encouraged to bring a friend, family member, or even their dog. Each week includes a progressive training plan, with light homework (optional walks or jogs on Saturdays) to keep momentum going.

The Running Club is part of Cody Regional Health’s larger VitalPath Wellness Program, which emphasizes four pillars of health: movement, hydration, nutrition, and mental wellness. The initiative aims to engage both day and night shift staff while also offering opportunities for community participation.
