Cody Regional Health Hosts Transformative Healthcare Training Event in Collaboration with Big Horn Basin Healthcare Coalition

Cody Regional Health proudly announces the successful completion of an intensive healthcare training event held in collaboration with the Big Horn Basin Healthcare Coalition (BHBHC). Nearly 100 healthcare professionals, including local heroes and attendees from across the nation, gathered at Cody Regional Health from Thursday to Saturday for this transformative educational experience.

The comprehensive training program featured a diverse range of hands-on stations, providing participants with invaluable opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge in critical areas of patient care. From IV insertion techniques to neonatal care and emergency intubation procedures, attendees engaged in immersive learning experiences led by a team of sixteen dedicated instructors.

The event also served as a platform for professionals from rural hospitals and clinics to address the unique challenges they face, particularly in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. Many participants emphasized the importance of hands-on training in maintaining proficiency, especially in settings where access to patients and resources may be limited.

"We're incredibly proud to have hosted this impactful training event in partnership with the Big Horn Basin Healthcare Coalition," said Ashley Trudo, Marketing Director at Cody Regional Health. "The dedication and commitment demonstrated by all participants underscored the unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care shared by healthcare professionals across our region and beyond."

The success of this event reflects Cody Regional Health's ongoing commitment to providing high-quality education and training opportunities for healthcare professionals, furthering its mission to enhance the health and well-being of the communities it serves.
