Stephanie brings a wealth of experience and a passion for healing to her role at Cody Regional Health. With a career spanning diverse clinical settings including medical school hospitals, psychiatric facilities, residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics, and more, she has touched the lives of clients across a wide spectrum of age groups.

Her therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in understanding the mind-body connection, and she employs a range of modalities tailored to each individual's needs. Stephanie's favorite techniques involve expressive arts therapy, utilizing mediums such as music, art, drama, humor, drumming, writing, poetry, dance, movement, and storytelling to facilitate healing and self-expression. Additionally, she draws upon interpersonal process theory and cognitive behavioral therapy, integrating techniques like EMDR to address trauma.

Having lived in various regions across the West, Midwest, Southwest, and Appalachia, Stephanie recognizes and values the importance of cultural diversity in her practice. Her philosophy centers on empathy and understanding, believing that individuals are doing the best they can with the resources and knowledge available to them.

Stephanie holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona, a Master's degree, and a Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming. With her creative approach, compassionate demeanor, and vibrant spirit, Stephanie is committed to empowering her clients on their journey toward holistic well-being.
