WPH Announces Joint Venture With St. Vincent Healthcare in Radiation Oncology Services at the Big Horn Basin Regional Cancer Center

Cody, Wyo.(February 2, 2017) –We are pleased to announce that West Park Hospital and St. Vincent Healthcare have entered into a joint venture agreement effective February 1, 2017.

St. Vincent Healthcare has provided Radiation Oncology Services to patients throughout the Big Horn Basin through a collaborative relationship with West Park Hospital since 1999. Our joint venture agreement with S.t Vincent Healthcare ensures that West Park Hospital and St. Vincent Healthcare remain committed to providing state of the art, high quality Radiation Oncology services to all the patients we serve at the Big Horn Basin Regional Cancer Center for the foreseeable future.

Under the terms of the agreement, the Radiation Oncology Services will become a department of West Park Hospital. The employees of the Radiation Oncology Services will remain employees of St. Vincent Healthcare employees, while patient billing and other day to day operations will be managed by West Park Hospital.

Jennifer Ball will serve as the Director over the Cancer Center. She will continue to oversee Medical Oncology and Infusion and will now oversee the Radiation and Oncology Service Line.

St. Vincent Healthcare has been and continues to remain committed to working with West Park Hospital to ensure the services provided at the Big Horn Basin Regional Cancer Center meets the healthcare needs of the patients served in Northern Wyoming. This joint venture with St. Vincent Healthcare meets our West Park Hospital mission by continuing to “provide extraordinary healthcare to those we serve by people who care”.
