Park County Raises Awareness and Funds for Alzheimer’s and Dementia

Cody, Wyoming, 02/20/2020 – Cody Regional Health is pleased to support the Alzheimer’s Association – Wyoming Chapter’s efforts to plan the first ever Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Park County. Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs. Cody Regional Health’s Long Term Care Center Administrator, Brian Huso, has agreed to serve as the Planning Committee’s Chair. With more than 10,000 diagnosed, an estimated 10,000 undiagnosed and more than 28,000 unpaid caregivers here in Wyoming, every community is impacted by this catastrophic disease. The committee is actively seeking volunteers and local businesses interested in joining the fight.
