Cody, Wyo.(Aug. 4, 2017) –As West Park Hospital continues to improve upon our electronic health record
system for our patients and staff, we ask for continued patience as we
are experiencing a billing system error through our vendor Meditech.
Currently, certain physician office charges are being billed in error on
the patient statement. They are being sent to the insurance plan, but
are falling to the patient statement prior to a response being received
from the insurance plan.
Larry Ekdahl, West Park Hospital Patient Financial Director states, “As
Meditech works through this issue on their end, we have decided to place
all physician office statements on hold until this issue is fixed. Unfortunately,
this is not a West Park Hospital system issue we can resolve on our end.
We are in constant communication with Meditech to resolve this issue as
soon as possible.”
We thank those effected by this system error for their patience and apologize
for any inconvenience this may cause.
