Visiting Information
All entrances to our main West Park Hospital campus for patients and staff are now open. Screening stations are at each entrance and we encourage everyone to please wear a mask. If our COVID community transmission levels are at a "high" we will require all visitors to wear a mask.
Visitation Guidlines
- For the safety of our visitors, we encourage our patients who are infectious to limit in-person visitation.
- We counsel our patients and their visitor(s) about the risks of an in-person visit.
- We encourage use of alternative mechanisms for patient and visitor interactions such as video-call applications on cell phones or tablets, when appropriate.
- We will provide instruction, before visitors enter the patient’s room, on hand hygiene, limiting surfaces touched, and use of PPE according to current facility policy.
- We ask that visitors only visit their patient room, and minimize their time spent in other locations in our facility.
