Colleen E. McClay, C-FNP
About Colleen
I have devoted my career to healthcare, embarking on this journey as a medical assistant for a cardiologist back in the 1990s. Since then, I've evolved in my role, becoming a nurse in 2010 and earning board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board in 2017. My unwavering commitment to healthcare has led me to pursue both a bachelor's and master's degree in nursing while working full-time.
My true passion lies in the fields of cardiology and gerontology, where I've had the privilege of making a profound impact on the lives of patients. Now, I'm thrilled to bring my extensive expertise to Cody Regional Health as your cardiology nurse practitioner. My husband, Andrew, and I were drawn to Cody, Wyoming, by its enduring values of fostering personal relationships within the community, which perfectly align with our own principles.
As we settle into Cody, we eagerly anticipate becoming an integral part of this wonderful community, both in the medical field and on a personal level. Outside of work, I cherish spending quality time with my husband and our beloved English bulldog, Vivian. We find solace in the outdoors and relish long walks together. Additionally, we are actively seeking a welcoming church community where we can serve, grow, and connect with our neighbors.
We are wholeheartedly looking forward to serving and contributing to the vibrant Bighorn Basin community. Your health and well-being remain my top priorities, and I am excited to continue this fulfilling journey here in Cody, Wyoming.
