Local Wound Care Center Provides Top Healing Rates to Patients

Cody Regional Health’s Wound Care Center is the only facility offering Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, advanced tissue/cellular products and more, for chronic and non-healing wounds in Northern Wyoming.

The center works closely with providers around the state to coordinate specialized treatment for patients who are having difficulty finding solutions for their wound issues.

Cody Regional Health Wound Care Physician, Stephen E. Mainini, M.D., FACP, FCCP, CWSP, recently completed his National Board Certification with the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). He has earned the professional designation of CWSP (Certified Wound Specialist Physician).

“I wanted to become ABWM certified to enhance our team approach to successful wound management and to improve the quality of wound care for our patients,” states CRH Wound Care physician, Stephen Mainini.

The wound care center had 1,813 patient visits over the past year with a rate of 94.83% success and an average heal time within 21 days of treatment started.

The clinic provides specialized treatment for acute, chronic, or non-healing wounds that have not significantly improved from conventional treatments. With our state-of-the-art treatments available including wound debridement, specialized dressing selection, and on-going education, patients appreciate a better rate of healing.

The local wound care clinic provides compassionate care that reduces suffering for many and has prevented disability not only from the common causes of wounds, but also from unusual cases such as frostbite and long term complication of radiation therapy.

Patients do not need a referral in order to receive care at the Wound Care Center. For more information please contact the Wound Care Center at 307-578-2538.
