Local Hospital Recognized as a "Most Wired Hospital" in Wyoming

Cody, Wyo.(July 17, 2017) –West Park Hospital District was recognized as a Wyoming hospital to be considered a “Most Wired Hospital.”

Technology is making it easier for patients and providers to interact, thus improving communication, safety and patient-provider relationships. New tools are helping patients become more actively involved in their care and maintaining their health, according to results of the 19th Annual Health Care’s Most Wired® survey.

“We now use our hospitals technology to its fullest capability. The technology you find here is equivalent to urban hospitals around the country. We have the capability to view and track the patients entire health record in a secure setting,” states, Information Services Director, Arek Shennar.

West Park Hospital District was recognized for implementing an electronic health record throughout its organization.
